I had heard the burgers were pretty good, so we decided to put in an order. Funnily enough, none of us actually ended up ordering a burger. But we did get a ton of food, some takeout beer and ended up happy with our first experience at the spot in the Cary plaza across from Jewel-Osco off Route 14.
We ordered the $1.50 hot dog special and the grilled cheese kids meal ($4.85) with a juice box and fries for starters.
We also picked a basket of onion rings ($4.89) and mozzarella sticks ($4.19), with each of us upgrading the sides on our meals to share. So we ended up with essentially all the side options you could imagine, including cheese curds ($4.45 upgrade) and chili cheese fries (pictured, $2.60 upgrade), which were huge and could have been a meal themselves.
Since it was a takeout order, I also upgraded my drink to a vanilla shake with strawberry swirled in ($2.25 for 24-ounce upgrade).
