While we didn't take home a growler of the handcrafted beer, we couldn't resist one of the other specialties of the brew pub, the small-batch root beer.
So for dessert, we decided to split a root beer float, its vanilla bean ice cream sourced from Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream of Geneva. The two ingredients were packaged separately and we rushed them into the fridge and freezer, respectively, so we could linger over our meal.
Later in the evening, the float was the perfect sweet finale to a lovely dinner.
