The philosophy of this New American restaurant is “food is meant to be shared and enjoyed together.” And patrons will find it hard not to enjoy Craft Urban’s menu fare, which features dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients.
Owner Bernie Laskowski changes up the offerings several times a year, based on product availability.
Craft Urban’s fall menu, for instance, features food dishes as well as cocktails, beer and wine, which coincide with the cooler temperatures. Just some of the offerings this autumn season will include Roasted Pumpkin Soup with cinnamon roasted apples and Apple Butter Toast, consisting of cracked wheat bread, ricotta cheese, local greens.
If comfort food is your pleasure, try the Chicken and Dumplings, featuring slow simmer chicken, house-made dumplings, local carrots and potatoes or the Pomegranate Glazed Pork Chop with roasted squash, toasted seeds, and a pomegranate glaze.
Satisfy your seafood cravings with the Roasted Sea Scallops with Roasted Corn and Wild Mushroom Ragout.
And don’t forget to save room for dessert. Indulge your sweet tooth with the Ultimate Urban Sundae or the Chocolate Mousse.
Also this fall, The Dude Returns to this Geneva locale. The cocktail is Craft Urban’s take on a White Russian and features house-made coffee liqueur, maple bourbon foam, and Sneaky Fox Vodka.
Craft Urban can also be your go-to destination during the holiday season. A Family Holiday Ramen Dinner is set for 8:30 p.m. to close the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and a Black Friday Brunch will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
