My chicken strips and fries were brought out quickly, and I was very pleased with what I tasted. The crinkle-cut fries were thinner than I would have thought, but were perfectly crisp and piping hot. I'm not sure how they were cooked, but they were flavorful enough to where I didn't really need any ketchup or salt. I ate about half of them before I even moved on to the chicken, which should say something about how good they were.
If I had to offer one critique of the chicken strips, it would be that three was not enough for me. That may be because I was kind of blind and may have missed the menu option with more chicken strips. But regardless, the chicken strips were amazing.
I'm not a fan of overly breaded strips, or breading that's too crispy or crunchy, but the strips at Tastee Bite were perfect. Slightly floury, with a touch of pepper and spice, the breading was golden and perfect, while the chicken was juicy and fresh – no gristle or fat to be found. I could have easily ate another three strips and been perfectly happy.
