The 18th annual Trunk or Treat will be held at the Plano United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 25. Children through sixth grade are invited to participate along with their families.

This year the event is also sponsored by St. Mary’s Catholic Church. It is hosted at the Methodist church’s west side parking lot from 1 to 3 p.m. Children will be able to go from car trunk to car trunk collecting goodies. Children, family members, and those with car trunks are invited to dress in costume. This year, there will be bottled water provided, pre-packaged goodies available for snacking, a photo booth and plenty of fun.

Since this is an outdoor event, guidelines suggest masks as optional according to personal preference. Those distributing candy at trunks may also wear gloves as personally preferred.

Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods or paper products to be donated to the Kendall County Community Food Pantry. For more information, contact Linda at 630-552-3828.
