"The folks at Batavia Fine Arts Centre pulled out all the stops to make a professional concert production, and we're really excited for you to see it," band member Brian McDonnell of Batavia said in an email. "We hope you'll tune in and make The Wayouts part of your holiday weekend."

The Wayouts band is described as the newest standout on the Chicago festival scene, according to the BFAC Facebook page. Dedicated exclusively to garage rock hits from the 1960s, The Wayouts musicians deliver an authentic revival of rock 'n' roll's first generation with hits from The Kinks, The Animals, The Troggs, The Monkees, The Rascals, The Dave Clark Five and numerous others – "songs everybody knows with no run-of-the-mill oldies."

The Wayouts musicians are Steve Cimino on drums; Eric Korte on bass and vocals; and Brian McDonnell and Jeff Palac on guitar and vocals.
