The tiny, house-styled shops are at 114 E. Wilson St., across from Bocaditos, Oak & Swine, Wilson Street Tavern and Six + Cypress. They will host eight new businesses for the season.

In collaboration with Batavia Boardwalk Shops host organization Batavia MainStreet, extended hours will happen monthly till 8 p.m. during the Second Fridays in Downtown Batavia promotions.

Individual shops may offer additional open hours, or host pick-up services at other times than indicated.

“It is very exciting to see this collaboration with the city of Batavia, Batavia MainStreet and many community volunteers and businesses filled with new businesses moving in and getting ready to open in downtown Batavia,” said Bob Hansen, Batavia Boardwalk Shops project manager and owner of Funway Ultimate Entertainment, in the release.

Due to adjustments made for COVID-19 regulations in Illinois, the Batavia Boardwalk Shops encourage everyone to wear a mask, and stay home if feeling sick. In order to maintain social distance, one shopper will be in each store at a time (until regulations change).

Many of the shops will have online and pre-order options, both from their Facebook pages and websites.
