ST. CHARLES – Fine Line Creative Arts Center will open for classes June 1, announced the St. Charles Arts Council.

Classes will be much the same, but with several critical differences, a news release stated.

"In order to comply with the mandates, we have made class sizes smaller to allow for 6-foot social distancing," Lynn Caldwell, Fine Line executive director, said in the release. "Students must wear masks at all times and wash their hands upon entering the studio. If you are unable to wear a mask or to attend classes in person, many of our classes are available online. Our online class options will have you virtually in the room of your regular classes. You will be able to talk with your instructor and fellow classmates."

The shop and galleries also will be open, but with restrictions on capacity for everyone's safety.Masks also must be worn when visiting. If one is unable to wear a mask, call to make arrangements for curbside pickup.

Fine Line is taking precautions and has new cleaning protocols in place based on the Centers for Disease Control guidelines, according to the release.

"We have missed the creative buzz that is usually here, and hope that you are able to join us once again," Caldwell said.
