St. Charles native Colleen LeMaire of Oswego has written her sixth children's book, this one about the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I Have to Stay Home," which is part of LeMaire's "I Have" series, answers questions about the stay-at-home order and the coronavirus in a kid-friendly way.

According to a news release, the book offers tips to stay healthy along with creative ideas for having fun while sheltering at home. LeMaire created the series to focus on child-friendly ways to tell "grown-up" topics. Her first three books explain divorce, remarriage and stepparents, while the fourth and fifth books focus on same-sex parents.

"I Have to Stay Home" is LeMaire's first book to be offered as a paperback and ebook, as well as the first to be published in five languages, including Spanish.

"I Have To Stay Home" is geared toward children ages 2 to 10. The book can be found on Amazon.
