People can enjoy nature's beauty from home by taking a virtual springtime stroll in the woods thanks to a Land Conservancy of McHenry County spring wildflower walk.

Participants can register for free at www.conservemc.org, and the video link will be emailed to them on May 17, announced a news release from the Land Conservancy of McHenry County in Woodstock.

In the video, Melissa Grycan, TLC’s restoration ecologist, will take a walk through the woodland at Ryder Woods in Woodstock, share information about each wildflower, and give viewers tips for identification.

TLC is a member-based private nonprofit dedicated to preserving natural, scenic and agricultural land.
