Andrew Grams, the award-winning conductor and music director of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, will be featured at a live chat event at noon May 1.

Have any burning questions you would like to ask the maestro? Here's your chance, a news release stated.

"We are disappointed that we don't have the opportunity to perform 'The Planets' for you, so we thought we would take lemons and make lemonade," announced the ESO.

Click shawurl.com/3d4c to submit your questions and Grams will try to answer all of them live. To tune in, visit facebook.com/ElginSymphonyOrchestra.

During the pandemic, there are three ways to support the ESO:

Share our content with your friends and family; renew your subscription or become a new subscriber at elginsymphony.org/concert/2019-20-series-on-sale-now; or make a donation.

"Any gift amount will go a long way in helping the ESO during these trying times," the release stated.

The home base of the ESO is the Hemmens Cultural Center set on the banks of the Fox River in downtown Elgin.
