BATAVIA – St. Charles artist Emily Parsons will show off her special passion for creating large-scale floral quilts at the “Quilts in Bloom” exhibit at Covenant Living at the Holmstad in the Town Center Gallery from March 13 through May 8.

Parsons’ large florals have won awards around the country and have been featured in numerous publications.

The public also is invited for a coffee and dessert reception with Parsons from 6 to 7 p.m. March 20. The following month at 6:30 p.m. April 16, Parsons will be back to participate in a gallery tour and artist talk, with a discussion about her inspirations and quilting process.

The events are offered at Covenant Living at the Holmstad at 700 W. Fabyan Parkway at Route 31 in Batavia. Admission is free to both events. For information, call 877-226-7310 or visit covlivingholmstad.org.
