ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles Public Library Foundation announced that internationally-renowned author Scott Turow will be guest speaker at the fifth annual Books and Brunch fundraising event this spring in St. Charles.
Turow is the author of 11 fiction and three nonfiction books, including "Presumed Innocent" and "The Burden of Proof." The film adaptation of "Presumed Innocent" starred Harrison Ford.
Books and Brunch will take place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 at the St. Charles Country Club, 1250 Country Club Road. Autograph signings, raffles, book giveaways and brunch are included as part of the event.
Tickets cost $55 per person and must be purchased in advance. Seating is limited.
