The jazz artists of New Street Rhythm Boys will perform at a benefit for the Batavia Arts Council from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 17 at the eye-catching lounge at Veritá Batavia restaurant.

"Come out tonight, support the arts, hear the sweet sounds of Kim Cusack on clarinet, [leader] Russ Phillips on trombone, Rob Curtis on guitar, and Batavia's own Dan Anderson doing his upright bass [and] tuba thing," organizers stated in a news release. "This is that fun toe-tapping jazz that is sure to put a smile on your face."

Tickets cost $45, which covers appetizers, music and one drink. Tickets are offered at tinyurl.com/y4r5znl3. They also are offered at the door.

"We will be raffling off a scratch ticket board for $10 – so bring some ten spots to take a chance for the win," the release stated.

The restaurant is at 15 E. Wilson St., just east of the Fox River. For more information, call Irene Anderson at 630-418-8040 or visit www.bataviaartscouncil.org.
