Heritage Prairie Farm was first launched in 2006, with a focus on its beekeeping and farming. In 2008, the Farm starting hosting outside events including weddings, parties, and themed farm dinners. In 2014, Heritage Prairie Farms became USDA Certified Organic. The four-season Farm grows seasonal and heirloom crops including greens, beets, kohlrabi, zucchini, microgreens, and more. The Farm also has raw honey, chickens providing fresh eggs, and pigs providing pork products. Items from Heritage Prairie Farm are sold at its on-site Farm Store, as well as through area French Markets and Whole Foods stores, and served at local hotels and restaurants.
