GENEVA – Garfield Farm Museum is hosting its annual Candlelight at the Inn from 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 7 & 8 at the museum, located near Route 38 and Garfield Road, five miles west of Geneva. The event is free, but donations will be welcomed.

Interpreters wearing period clothing will share details about what life was like for people during the height of the horse and wagon era. The Scantlin' Reunion and Friends will play dulcimer music in the ballroom, and refreshments will be served in the dining room.

The 375-acre Garfield Farm Museum is the only historically intact former 1840s Illinois prairie farmstead and teamster inn being restored by donors and volunteers from 3,500 households in 37 states as an 1840s working farm museum.
